No matter what people say, the wait-and-see approach only works best in some cases. Big or small, the waiting process is the same. Time can hold us hostage. Time is concerned only about time; occurring systematically is its only job. Nothing happens without it. Everything we do depends on it.

Waiting exposes our true personality over time. A relationship can start one way, but life can upset the affection that challenges the commitment. Change can bring tiresomeness and self-reproach. Faith is the inspirational stimulus that encourages stability for the long haul.

Waiting will feed the spirit of patience. A faithful wait can stress us out. When experiencing a period of doubt, we often travel a rough road to an unknown destiny. Although the strength will come from God’s grace and mercy, we are still helpless as we wait. An emotional burden causes the nervous system to attack, which brings tension and anxiety. Learning to wait is a sobering and earnest matter. It is a spiritual discipline that is controlled by faith. I believe the soul responds emotionally to what the mind directs, and that faith is a powerful time supply. God never leaves us while we wait.
